Archives Open House #2: Treasures from Nature

Have you wondered what treasures are hiding behind the locked doors of the library archives and rare books room? Spring 2022 is your chance for a sneak peek at some cool stuff! On the fourth Thursday of each month, 4:30-6:30 p.m., we’ll be unlocking our doors and offering you a close-up look at objects from our special collections and archives.

This Thursday, March 31, we’ll be sharing items around the theme of Nature. Highlights from our collections include Alicia Bailey’s artist book Extinct Extant featuring extinct bird species and early photographs from the Ordway Field Station. Drop in! Access our space through Archives Classroom 254 on the library’s Level 2. Questions? Ask us. https://www.macalester.edu/library/askus/
