The Loneliness Crisis and The Power of Human Connection Webinar

Alumni Engagement in partnership with the Alumni Learning Consortium presents the following webinar as part of our monthly Lifelong Learning programming.

The world was in a loneliness crisis long before COVID-19. As human beings, our brains are wired for connection. The feelings of disconnectedness people face today—isolation within our families, digital addiction, emotional trauma—hold worrying consequences for our mental well-being. The metaverse, AI, and post-pandemic hybrid work all threaten the human connection we are wired to need as human beings. So how do we connect in a polarized world and across generations?

Simone Heng, human connection specialist and best-selling author, will share the techniques that authentically bring us together regardless of age, gender, race, and geography.
