Please note: Most meeting and event spaces on Macalester’s campus have been transformed into classroom spaces or perch points to create additional space for students during the time of COVID-19. Most of these spaces are not reservable by our campus community.
The role of Reservations is to provide exemplary logistical support in on-campus event planning for academic and administrative departments and chartered student organizations.
In effort to engage the Macalester College community in on-campus programming, Reservations serves as a great resource for a wide variety of event types and is the primary spot for on-campus groups to reserve space on campus and make logistical requests for upcoming events.
Off campus groups: for inquiry about conference and facility rental information including summer housing, please visit Conferences and Facility Rentals. Please note that we are not accepting outside rentals at this time due to COVID-19.
Upcoming Workshops and Demos:
- This workshop focuses on providing insight to the logistical and operational processes of Reservations
- Reservations 101 Workshops will be temporarily canceled and will resume as an online workshop.
- This demo will introduce and teach you how to leverage the Web App as the most efficient tool for planning events at Macalester
- EMS Web App Demos will be moved to an online workshop.

The Information & Reservations Desk will be operating on a remote basis until after the Quiet Period ends. We will open on September 17, following Academic Year hours.
