How to register
First, be sure your most recent resume is uploaded and made visible in Handshake. We’d like to review it and offer feedback so you make the best impression possible. Upload your resume in Handshake by selecting the down arrow by your first name and choose Documents. Select Add New Document. After upload, be sure make the resume Visible.
Next, find the registration page under Events in Handshake. When registering, you’ll need to pay a nonrefundable $10 registration fee.
Want to get ahead of the game? You can upload your approved resume to the MN Private Colleges Job and Internship Fair website. Employers attending the fair will have early access to your resume.

The MN Private Colleges Job & Internship Fair focuses on Minnesota organizations, so if you’re looking for an internship or planning to stay in the area, attend the fair. Industries that are well represented at the fair are business, government, social services, and health care. See the complete list of organizations attending.
What employers will be there?
Review the list of organizations attending. Here, you can find out if they will be collecting resumes or interviewing on-site, have openings or are currently recruiting for positions.
Will employers hire international students?
Yes. Filter the list of employers attending by choosing “Show only organizations that will hire international students.”
My dream employer is attending! What should I do?
Send a cover letter and resume and let them know you’ll be attending Minnesota’s Private College Job & Internship Fair. Ask to be interviewed during the Fair. Employers will contact you directly to schedule.
What can I do to prepare?

- Practice your 2-minute introduction.
What should I wear? Do I really need a suit?
Yes. Dress should be professional. You are showing the employer that you know how to present yourself. You want to be remembered for your skills and professionalism — not for your appearance.
