In collaboration with Macalester’s Disability Services, the CDC offers individualized consultation for students with disabilities as they navigate career exploration and planning, and job/internship searches. Deciding when, how, and if to disclose a disability in a job/internship search is very unique to each individual’s situation. Please meet with a CDC counselor for support and consultation.

Workforce Recruitment Program

Macalester also participates in the the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP), a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs.
