Kirsten Peterson is the CDC’s Graduate Assistant for the 2017-2018 academic year. She comes to the CDC with a strong interest in career development and exploration and with experience in education, marketing, and writing. Kirsten is especially interested in helping students identify their interests and strengths, feel confident exploring career paths, and develop skills necessary to pursue internships and jobs both as students and graduates. She is pursuing an M.A. in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology at the University of Minnesota and has a B.A. in English and Psychology from St. Olaf College.
Best Advice: Set up informational interviews. They provide a chance for you to ask questions and learn about careers and industries that interest you.
