Lisa Ray (she/her/hers) is from a small farming town in southern Minnesota. She’s held a wide variety of jobs in publishing (including feature writer and children’s book editor), event planning, communications, and nonprofit management but has worked in higher ed for more than 15 years. She has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in Public Administration from Hamline University. At Macalester, Lisa leads workshops on digital identity and professionalism and social media and the job search, tends to the Career Development Center’s website, and manages the CDC’s social media outreach. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and has two daughters.
