Rachel Weeks

As the Department Coordinator in Mac’s Civic Engagement Center, I enjoy working with and supporting students as they meaningfully engage the larger community and navigate the U.S. electoral system. I bring the lens of a first-gen college graduate to all aspects of my work, and particularly enjoy connecting with and supporting first-gen students in the Bonner Community Scholars program, which is administered by the Civic Engagement Center. I started at Macalester on the first day of the Fall semester — Sept.4, 2018 — after working in the nonprofit and food industry sectors.
