Democratic Engagement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Community Engagement Center works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students across the Macalester community to cultivate a campus culture that encourages participation by <\/span>all<\/span><\/i> students, regardless of voting eligibility, party affiliation, or voting status. <\/span>Macalester’s 2026 Democratic Engagement Plan<\/a> consists of a retroactive look at the 2025 Saint Paul election and a structured, campus-wide approach to robust civic engagement leading up to the 2026 midterms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mobilize Mac<\/span><\/a> is the umbrella framing that the Community Engagement Center uses for all elections-related work, whether it\u2019s a mayoral, midterm, or general election cycle.<\/span> This coalition includes students, faculty, and staff from the Macalester community, and meets multiple times throughout each semester to discuss campus-wide civic engagement events, opportunities, and ideas.
