in the semester how exam accommodations will be provided:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Will the faculty member provide exam accommodations or will these be coordinated with Center for Disability Resources?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is the agreed on <strong>date and length<\/strong> of the exam?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If testing accommodations cannot be provided by the faculty, schedule with Center for Disability Resources with the following steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/disability-services\/faculty\/aim-system\/\">Faculty Testing Using the class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request the type of exam<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Midterm\/Exam<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(the <\/span><b>most common exam scheduled with Center for Disability Resources)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> refers to an assessment which a professor schedules for entire class period to complete.<\/span><b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Final<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> refers to longer, end-of-semester assessments.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quizzes will most likely be done in classes\/remotely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Then, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">select the <strong>time and date<\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you and instructors have agreed on for the exam. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the accommodations <b style=\"font-size: 1rem\">you have been approved for under &#8220;Services Requested&#8221;.<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>&#8220;Additional Notes&#8221;<\/strong> is a space to provide additional information&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens next<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will receive a confirmation email.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The faculty member will complete a testing agreement, which outlines their expectations for exam proctoring (remote or in person).&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You will receive confirmation of the exam being approved.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I know my exam has been scheduled?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Log back into AIM.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to &#8220;Accommodations&#8221; and then &#8220;Alternative Testing&#8221;.
