Disability Services recognizes a short-term impairment or disabilities of less than six months may need access to services and resources similar to individuals with long-term disabilities.  Examples of short-term disabilities may include, but are not limited to: broken limbs, concussions, hand injuries, impairments following surgery or medical illness/treatments.

Students with short-term disabilities can contact Disability Services or may be referred from professional staff for support; we will discuss if additional information is required.  If you are a student in need of accommodations due to a temporary condition, please connect with Disability Services as soon as possible by contacting Josie Hurka:

Accommodations are approved on a case-by-case basis and may involve the interactions of other staff (e.g, Athletics or Residential Life).
