The Dev Garden is a physical, virtual, and social space that supports student software projects. It is run by MSCS professor and freelance software developer Paul Cantrell ’98 and open to students of all majors, roles, backgrounds and ability levels. To learn more:

SIT social entrepreneurship

This one-semester studying away program enables you to explore what “social entrepreneurship” means in the United States (San Francisco), India, Uganda, and Brazil through various disciplines. Application for 2018 Spring is due November 1. For more information:

Davis Projects For Peace 

Students propose their own definitions on peace and then propose a project that will enable them to implement this definition. To learn more:

Action Fund

Students create a project to work within the Twin Cities community, focused on community service. To learn more:

Internship Program

Students work in close collaboration with the internship office to find start-up opportunities in the non-profit and business communities.

Mayo Innovation Scholars Program 

Teams of 4 or 5 undergraduate science and economics majors assist in the assessment of new product submissions by researchers at Mayo Clinic. Each student team is directed by a master’s level student and is advised by a Licensing Manager from the Mayo Clinic Office of Intellectual Property. For more information:
