To celebrate National Fossil Day, Macalester GeoClub went to the Science Museum of Minnesota to talk to the local community about some of our favorite fossils! Pictured are geology majors Rachel Surprenant ’18, Nolan Ebner ’18, Mac Doherty ’19, and Ojashvi Rautela ’19. They presented dinosaur bones from the Judith River Formation in Montana as well as some assorted invertebrate fossils from around the world, including stromatolites and several types of cephalopod.
