Tobacco-Free at Mac

For better health, e-cigarettes, smoking and the use of tobacco products are prohibited everywhere on Macalester's property. Starting January 1, 2015, Macalester College becomes tobacco free

GUSDay History

In a meeting in 1999, the Minnesota Private College Council IT directors came up with an idea for an IT and technology conference. Gustavus Adolphus College hosted the first two successful conferences in 2000 and 2002. Macalester and Carleton hosted the next two in 2003 and 2004. The consortium has maintained the name GusDay as a tradition and in appreciation of the first host institution that birthed the event.
