Audrey Seligman, MPH

Health Promotion Specialist

Audrey is a health promotion team member, joining the team in Fall 2021. She is a Macalester Alumna (‘17) and is a public health generalist, utilizing the tools of intervention development and evaluation across a broad range of topics. She has previous experience working on projects in sexual health, food waste reduction, and college and career readiness. In her role at Macalester, Audrey supervises the Health Promotion Assistants and leads workshops on moving past procrastination, promoting personal sustainability, and alcohol and other drugs. She recently presented Utilizing Data and Faculty as Partners to Support a Culture of  Wellbeing at the NASPA Strategies conference.

Additionally, Audrey is part of the JED campus team; a team focused on a comprehensive approach to student mental health and suicide prevention. Audrey is passionate about centering equity in public health work. Her favorite part of her job is working work students and watching them find new interests, try hard things, and grow over their time at Macalester. Audrey says, “My time as a Macalester student was transformative and empowering, and I am excited to support current students in their Macalester experience.” When Audrey is not at Macalester, she is a high school track and field coach.
