It shows you where to find campus buildings, parking, and accessibility features.<\/p>\n<p>If you need to meet with Human Resources on your first day to complete new hire paperwork, you can find us in the 77 Mac Building on the 2nd floor. Access to the building is by key card only &#8211; please call Human Resources at 651-696-6280 for access.<\/p>\n<p>Macalester maintains a number of <strong>parking<\/strong> lots on campus which can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/map.concept3d.com\/?id=211#!ct\/45502,2569,2556?s\/\">campus map<\/a>. Community members who wish to park on campus should submit an online <a href=\"https:\/\/macalester.omnigo.one\/CESIReportExec\/OPR\/OPRMain.aspx?IsAuth=1&amp;groupid=103&amp;groupname=DEPARTMENT+OF+PUBLIC+SAFETY\">parking application<\/a>. This will take you into Workday using Macalester\u2019s single sign-on (SSO). Once you are logged into Workday, you can complete the required onboarding tasks for your employment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>I-9:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> You will need to complete both Section 1 and 2 of the Form I-9. Please review the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/i-9-central\/form-i-9-acceptable-documents\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">list of acceptable documents<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and bring those with you on your first day.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Please note the following:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Section 1:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> You will log into Workday and complete Section 1 of the I-9 Form in your onboarding tasks.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><i>Please note:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> need to wait 15 minutes before you can click this link when you are doing your onboarding tasks for both systems to talk with each other and update. Once you have waited 15 minutes, you can click the link and complete section 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>For Section 2:<\/b><b> IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that you make sure to complete Section 2 of the I-9 Form by coming into the HR office and completing this.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They need to be the original copies and<\/span><b> cannot <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">be scanned, printed or screenshots of acceptable documents.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>W-4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Please complete the online forms in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/wd108.myworkday.com\/macalester\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Workday<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> via your Onboarding Task.\u00a0 Please note, you will need to complete both the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/payroll\/general-information-faq\/forms-resources\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Federal W-4<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> as well as the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/payroll\/general-information-faq\/forms-resources\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Minnesota W-4<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Direct Deposit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Once you have received your Macalester email and have set your password, you will have access to our employee self service portal called<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/wd108.myworkday.com\/macalester\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Workday<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. To set up direct deposit, you will log into<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/wd108.myworkday.com\/macalester\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Workday<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, click on the task \u201cPayment Election Enrollment Event\u201d,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Benefits Enrollment:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> On your first day, you will have a task called \u201c New Hire Benefits\u201d that will allow you to enroll in Benefits at Macalester College.
