The Institute for Global Citizenship Student Council hosts Sandwiches and Scholarship luncheons on the second Thursday of each month to highlight student scholarship across campus. These luncheons provide a venue for students to showcase their academic work to the broader campus community and for faculty, staff, and students to view some of the incredible student projects going on at Macalester.

The luncheons include short presentations from up to three students on a class paper, project, or artistic pursuit followed by a question and answer session.

The IGCSC collaborates with the Library to put on Sandwiches and Scholarship, and one lunch a year coincides with National Library Week. The IGCSC also works with the International Center to host study abroad returnees who want to present academic work completed on a study away experience.

All presentations take place in the Harmon Room, DeWitt Wallace Library at noon.

If you are interested in participating please email the IGCSC at igcsc@macalester.edu or fill out the form below. We will respond with a tentative presentation date as soon as possible.
