Faculty with survey projects for classes:
All faculty members who are assigning course projects that entail survey research are encouraged to complete the Notification to Survey Coordination Committee of Surveys for Student Class Projects form and submit it to the Chair of the SCC (Adam Johnson, [email protected]) by the end of the second week of the semester. The SCC may contact faculty members to discuss options for sampling that help reduce the number of surveys Macalester students are asked to complete in a semester.
Students in the classes of faculty who do not complete this form are required to submit applications for each of their survey projects.
For the purposes of Macalester’s survey policy, some projects are exempt from SCC approval.
