- Enable two-factor or multi-factor authentication

- Don’t get phished
- Enable automatic system and application updates
- Turn on host based firewall
- Use anti-virus software
- Encrypt your computer
- Backup your computer
- Install and use applications from reputable developers
- Connect to trusted, secure wireless networks
- Use VPN when away from campus
