The Information Desk, located just inside the entrance of the Campus Center, is here to answer general questions about campus and help you learn more about exploring the vibrant city surrounding our campus. The Campus Center Information Desk offers Metro Transit products to current Macalester students, faculty, and staff. You will need to present your Macalester ID prior to purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Universal Passes are available only to current Macalester students. They provide unlimited rides on all Metro Transit bus and light rail trains throughout the Twin Cities. For the 2024 \u2013 2025 academic year, we are able to provide a Universal Pass to every Macalester student at NO COST. Cards need to be tapped to the one-touch readers located on the bus or at the train\/bus station platforms in order to validate the ride.<\/a>\u00a0 These cards are great if you use Metro Transit frequently. You will need to present your Macalester ID at the Information Desk to receive your Universal Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n UNIVERSAL PASSES ARE VALID THROUGH AUGUST 15, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Faculty and Staff are not<\/strong> eligible for the College Pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We highly encourage anyone who has a Universal Pass to register it, by visiting the Metro Transit website.<\/a> In the case of loss or theft, a registered Universal Pass can be replaced for a $10 fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Go-To Cards are reusable cards that can be re-charged with stored value and used to pay fares quickly and easily. They are accepted on all regional regular route buses and trains.
