Macalester Welcomes LibTech 2017 Attendees

March 9 2017

The 10th annual Library Technology Conference will be held March 15-16, 2017, on the campus of Macalester College in St. Paul, MN.

The LibTech Conference provides an opportunity for library professionals to come together to discuss the changing technologies that are affecting libraries. It provides a venue where participants can learn skills and knowledge that they can take back and adapt for use within their own library. The conference offers two full days of mixed content including keynote presentations, traditional lecture-style concurrent sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops.

Over 500 library staff and technologists from as many as 150 institutions are expected to attend the 2017 conference. While the conference attracts a majority of its attendees from the Midwest region (Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota), it is also expected that a significant number will be attending from around the United States, as well as from Canada.
