COVID-19 Building update

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, at 8 a.m., access to the library during open hours will be by card access only. Each person must have a valid Macalester ID in order to enter the building. We regret the inconvenience this will cause our alumni and neighborhood patrons.
The library will close today, Friday, 3/13, at 4:30 p.m., and will reopen Monday at 8 a.m. Library hours through 3/29 are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday. The building will be closed on weekends. Access current library hours on the campus events calendar.
