Introduction
Works in Progress is a peer review process facilitated by MAX Center peer writing tutors for students in any class who are working on drafts of a writing assignment. Students meet in the MAX Center (Kagin Commons) outside of class time in order to respond to each other’s writing.
“Revision,” which is what you do in peer review, literally means to see again, with fresh eyes and a new perspective. With the help of feedback from others, you gain a clearer vision of what you want to say and specific insights into how well you’re communicating. When you read others’ papers, you often learn something to apply to your own writing.
