Since graduating, he has worked within the Walker Art Center&#8217;s Film and Video Department, for the Jerome Foundation&#8217;s Film, Video, and Digital Production Grant Program, and occasionally as a freelance videographer. He was a co-founder of the Film Journal <em>Joyless Creatures<\/em> where he wrote reviews and longer feature articles and conducted interviews with filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p>His writing has been published on the Walker Art Center&#8217;s website, in print and online in connection with the video work of Ira Sachs, in the journals <a href=\"http:\/\/jcla.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/JCLA-43.2-Summer-2020_Jeremy-Meckler.pdf\"><em>Journal of Comparative Literature and Aesthetics<\/em><\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brill.com\/view\/journals\/popu\/5\/1\/article-p72_4.xml?language=en\"><em>Populism<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0and in the book <em>The Big Lebowski: An Illustrated Annotated History of the Greatest Cult Movie of All Time<\/em>. He is the co-author of\u00a0<em><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.colpapress.com\/products\/still-dots#.VuL3UpMrIUE\">Still Dots<\/a><\/em>, a micro-analysis of Carol Reed&#8217;s\u00a0<em>The Third Man<\/em>, published by Colpa Press, 2013 and a contributor to\u00a0<em><a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/press.uchicago.edu\/ucp\/books\/book\/distributed\/W\/bo25031277.html\">World Film Locations: Cleveland<\/a><\/em>, published by the University of Chicago Press in 2016.
