Visiting Instructor
Lilly’s research is primarily in algebraic combinatorics. She studies the combinatorial properties of elements of the Grassmannian, a fascinating space where the points themselves are vector spaces, and related rings. In particular, she is interested in viewing these rings as a cluster algebra, a type of ring whose generators arise from a recursive process. Outside of math, Lilly enjoys baking and watching sports.
