A message to students

Welcome (or welcome back) to the Music Department!
The 2020-21 academic year will prove to be most unusual in every way. Your experience in the music department this year may be very different than what you are used to, or what you would expect, especially since many of our students and instructors will be participating remotely. We ask for everyone’s cooperation with new policies and patience with change. We acknowledge that this year will be challenging as we navigate and try to make the best of these uncertain times. We are committed to your education, and still will provide the highest quality experience given the present situation.
We encourage you to read through the information throughout the COVID portion of the website. In particular, please note the Operational Guide, which has policies about practice rooms, classes, and ensembles. Many of these relate to in-person instruction, which will not be applicable until the College dials back up again.
