Reid Kruger has composed music and sound design for film, television and dance.\u00a0 He is an accomplished music producer, multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer and studio owner.\u00a0 As an artist-in-residence at The Banff Centre for the Arts, Reid studied electronic music, sound recording and post production techniques.\u00a0 Faculty included George Massenburg, Bob Ludwig and Mark Willsher.<\/p>\n
In 2006, Reid recorded Roy Haynes\u2019 “Whereas,” which was released on Dreyfus Records and nominated for a Grammy.\u00a0 Other career highlights include composing the opening score for the Emmy Award-winning television show “Natural Heroes.” Recently, Reid produced the sound design for “Wise Blood,” based on a story by Flannery O’Connor, in a production co-sponsorship by the Soap Factory and the Walker Art Center.<\/p>\n
