Things really picked up during the second week of spring semester at Macalester, and our photographers were there to capture a few of the many events. The student newspaper, The Mac Weekly, is back publishing regularly; students found plenty of volunteer opportunities at the Taste of Service event in the Campus Center; an art exhibition called “Ornament and Crime: Parastou Forouhar” opened in the new Law Warschaw Gallery; many teams took part in the first-ever 24-hour Macathon; and lots of students enjoyed skating on the new campus ice rink.
