St. Paul, Minn. – Three Macalester College alumni have become members of the Board of Trustees. They were elected earlier this year and will serve three-year terms.
Robin Jackson Colman, Class of 1978
Robin Jackson Colman is Vice President, for Compensation, Benefits and Mergers and Acquisitions at eBay. Colman earned a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations (MILR) from Cornell University.
Seth Levine, Class of 1994
Seth Levine is a partner and co-founder at Boulder, Colo., based Foundry Group. The company focuses on early stage investments in technologies businesses such as Zynga, Admeld and Fitbit. In addition to his work at Foundry, Levine is active around the world in the entrepreneurial community as a member of the board of directors of The Unreasonable Institute, an advisor to Palestinian focused venture fund Sadara, as well as an advisor to a number of other venture funds. He is a founding member of the Colorado Chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Foundation, co-founder of Pledge 1% and Colorado Entrepreneurial By Nature. Levine is a judge and advisor for Macathon and a summa cum laude graduate of Macalester. Levine lives near Boulder, Colo. with his wife and three children.
Paul J. Strand, Class of 1971
Paul J. Strand is Professor Emeritus, Political Science and retired Dean, College of Arts and Letters, San Diego State University. Strand also operated a jury consultancy business where he worked on high-profile trials including the O.J. Simpson case. He earned his MA in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and his PhD from Ohio State University. Strand lives in San Diego, Calif., with his wife.
