  • Urinetown: The Musical was performed on campus the last two weekends. Urinetown is a satirical musical comedy that premiered in 2001 on Broadway, with music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Kotis. It satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, and municipal politics. The show also parodies musicals such as the Threepenny Opera, The Cradle Will Rock, and Les Miserables, and the Broadway musical itself as a form.
  • MASECA’s Annual Diwali Dinner–Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights, is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in South Asia. It marks the beginning of a new year on the Hindu calendar, and signifies the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
