The Live it Dream it program provides funding for entrepreneurial projects, with awards ranging from $500-$2,000 in January, followed by an opportunity to apply for summer funding of up to $10,000. Last summer five Live It projects were funded, and last week the students discussed their experiences.

The Things They Carried author Tim O’Brien ’68 joined fellow writer Professor Marlon James for a conversation on a range of topics, including O’Brien’s participation in the recent Vietnam War documentary from Ken Burns and Lynn Novick.
Lectures Coordination Board hosted legendary activist and educator Angela Davis, who has been deeply involved in the quest for social justice in the United States through her activism and scholarship for the last half-century. Through the years, her work as an educator has emphasized the importance of building communities of collective struggle for racial, economic, and gender justice.
With warm temperatures all week, students spent plenty of time outside surrounded by bright fall leaves.
