Students from Environmental Politics and Policy visited the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary last week, which is located less than 20 minutes from campus. The course, which is taught by Professor Roopali Phadke, explores the tandem rise of the modern environmental movement and profound new environmental legislation in the U.S. and internationally. Topics investigated include: deforestation, hazardous wastes, climate change, population growth, and loss of biodiversity.
