In Italy In Italy Jonathan Chen in Australia I spent four months last spring studying in Sydney, Australia. I enrolled in the University of Sydney, which immersed me in Australian culture and the Australian “uni” (university) experience. Kaitlyn Arctander in Russia I spent the summer working as a volunteer at a children’s camp in the Russian countryside. I taught English classes and worked as a counselor at a camp called Computeria—a technology camp. Beth Moretzsky in Denmark In Summer 2010 I traveled to Copenhagen to take a course in cross-cultural psychology with the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. In the Philippines Two months ago, I completed my study abroad in Nanjing, China. Since then, I have spent time in the Philippines working on an island where the most important industry is sugarcane and sugar. I have been volunteering on a small farm.
