In <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dream School: Finding the College That\u2019s Right for You<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Selingo singles out Macalester\u2019s unique value as a liberal arts college offering plentiful urban opportunities in the heart of the Twin Cities.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Unlike traditional rankings that often focus on prestige, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dream School<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> highlights colleges that deliver strong career outcomes, rich experiential learning opportunities, and an inclusive sense of belonging. The book highlights that a \u201cremarkable 73 percent of students complete internships or research before graduation, aided by 200 internship sites within eight miles.\u201d Selingo also acknowledges that Macalester students rarely stay on campus for their entire collegiate journey.
