\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A variety of state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities are available to Physics and Astronomy faculty and students to pursue research and projects.&nbsp; Much of this equipment has come from the more than 1.3 million dollars in external grant money raised by department faculty since 1997.&nbsp; The Science Division is also supported by a full time instrumentation technician with a well-equiped machine and electronics shop, and a full time scientific computer specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n<section
