I worked with their Built Environment director on a public policy initiative that aims to improve energy efficiency in Minnesota public schools. This involved a host of different tasks: developing a volunteer plan for the campaign, surveying key community stakeholders across the state, and working with the communications staff to craft messaging materials for the upcoming legislative session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My fellowship was one of the most engaging experiences I\u2019ve had at Macalester. The student-designed component of the spring semester course gave me insight into the varied interests and worldviews of the other Chuck Green fellows.
