College\/university courses will be evaluated once an official transcript is sent to Macalester directly by the sponsoring college\/university. Please contact registrar@macalester.edu for further questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay by credit card:<\/strong> (there is an additional processing fee for credit card orders):<br>If you have access to 1600grand, navigate to the <strong>Order Transcript<\/strong> box within the Student page. If you no longer have access to 1600grand, please go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/transcript\">macalester.edu\/transcript<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay with cash or check*:<br><\/strong>Submit your request in writing. We must have your signature to authorize the release of your record. Send us a letter or fill out this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/registrar\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/FORM-TranscriptRequest.pdf\">form<\/a>. The letter must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full name and any former names while in attendance at Macalester\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Legal documentation will be required for any name change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date(s) of attendance or graduation from Macalester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Address where to send the transcript. We will send it as requested, including directly to you. (A transcript released directly to you will be an official copy in a sealed envelope, stamped &#8220;released directly to student.&#8221; Once you open this transcript is it no longer considered official for many purposes.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Watch your penmanship, or you may slow us down.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mail your letter to:<\/strong><br>Registrar&#8217;s Office<br>Macalester College<br>1600 Grand Avenue<br>Saint Paul, MN 55105-1899<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During office hours, you can visit us to fill out a transcript request form in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* A non-refundable service charge of $20 will be assessed for NSF\/returned checks.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: If you have a past debt to Macalester, we may not be able to process your request.
