She received a B.A. from Grinnell College (2000), a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School (2003), and a Ph.D. from Duke University (2008). Her research interests include early Christian and Jewish relations, gender and sexuality in late antiquity, and biblical interpretation in art and text.
