A graduate of Harvard University (PhD), Harvard Divinity School (MTS), and the University of Georgia (BA), she taught courses in the history of Christian traditions, Christianity and Culture, and theory of religion.\u00a0 These courses include \u201cJesus, Dissent, &amp; Desire,\u201d \u201cLove &amp; Death,\u201d \u201cWork &amp; Ethics across Traditions,\u201d \u201cThe Sacred &amp; the Sword,\u201d Dissent, Reform, &amp; Expansion in the Sixteenth Century,\u201d \u201cContemporary Christian Thought,\u201d and \u201cApproaches to the Study of Religion.\u201d She has written several books and articles including <em>Willing the Good: Jesus, Dissent and Desire<\/em>, Minneapolis: Augsburg Fortress, 2006.
