As a Sister of St. Joseph, the gospel message – to love God and Neighbor – motivates my life and faith. I have worked with young adults in spirituality, social justice, and English education for 20 years. As a trained spiritual director, I help people listen to the unfolding of their lives and hold the questions they have about God’s presence. Practices of Centering Prayer and paying attention to nature and the world help me cultivate curiosity and compassion. Participation in a community garden that holds in common the planning, planting, cultivation, and harvest, I celebrate the joys of a bountiful harvest which results from shared labor and the miracles of seeds! I professed vows with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ) and completed M.A. degrees in Irenic Studies (peace and conflict transformation) and nonprofit management and a B.A. degree in English.
