Residential Life Office Assistants

Job Description

The role of a Residential Life Office Assistant is in collaboration with professional and student staff to:

  • provide residence hall(s) office support
  • greet residents/visitors
  • refer students to campus resources when appropriate
  • answer phone calls
  • manage hall desk email account(s)
  • hang event promotional fliers in living spaces
  • monitor desk processes (ie. equipment check-out, loaner key management, residence hall check-in & check-out, etc..)
  • other tasks are discussed and assigned by corresponding supervisor

  • Time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Maintain organized and professional office appearance
  • Familiarity with Residential Life policies
  • Able to work independently and with a team
  • Must be able to work 8-10 hours per week
  • Be a positive role model for the department of Residential Life 
  • Be in good standing with the college in relation to conduct issues; being involved in policy violations may affect your employment as an Office Assistant
