<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bowman Hall Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Earl W. Bowman, Jr. Hall is sandwiched between Bigelow and Wallace Halls. Bowman Hall was converted to a residential living area in the summer of 1997 with the help of a student design team. This residential area contains many spaces that are accessible for students including one room that has a strobe light in the event that a student who is hard of hearing needs an accomodation in the event of an emergency. Bowman Hall also has air conditioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bathrooms:<\/strong> Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1QtfuANrpD9vKQKnrmEeyhyw7CmbG49o5YQTf94wOxhE\/preview\">Bathroom Inventory<\/a> for more information. <br><strong>Kitchen<\/strong>:\u00a0 Sink, cook top, oven, and microwave.<br><strong>Lounges<\/strong>: Large seating area with TV and cable located near the kitchen.<br><strong>General Room Information<\/strong>:10 single rooms, 10 double rooms, 1 triple room. Rooms have sinks.<br><strong>Room Dimensions<\/strong>: Single: 9\u20196\u201d x 13\u2019; Double: 12\u20196\u201d x 17\u20196\u2019\u201d,<br><strong>Room Furnishings<\/strong>: twin extra long bed<strong>:<\/strong> 36&#8221; x 80 &#8221; may be bunked with equipment provided in the room. Standard desk, chair and lounge chair.<br><strong>Laundry Facilities<\/strong>: Bowman Hall has two washers and dryers. The hall may also share laundry facilities with Bigelow and Wallace Halls. There are approximately 6 washers and dryers located in the basement below Bowman Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ongoing Construction: <\/strong>Construction of Macalester\u2019s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/residential-life\/new-residence-hall-and-welcome-center\/\">Residence Hall and Welcome Center<\/a> will impact many buildings, closest to Grand Cambridge Apartments and GDD, Bigelow, Bowman, and Wallace halls.
