Turn Turn Turn

By Linda Kennedy

Hey “What’s Going On?” “Everyday People!” Those who graduated in 1972, that is.  It’s Reunion Time!  “Old Friends” are waiting for you with “Anticipation.” “Volunteers”  have worked hard braving “Fire and Rain.”

So, if there “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “The Thrill is Gone;” If you’ve been “Lonely Too Long” just “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay,” “Better Find Out For Yourself.”

Some of us are no longer “Young, gifted and Black”  but “For What It’s Worth,”  two of out three still “Maybe”  deserves “Respect.” Or could that be “Just My Imagination.”

“Time Has Come Today.” We expect you to make plans for “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Get ready for “Nights in White Satin,” “My Girl,” “ A Magic Carpet Ride.”  Eat some “American Pie” and don’t worry about “The Weight” for “The Times They Are A-Changin.” Maybe you “Heard It Through the Grapevine.”

Got the “Hesitation Blues?”  “Just hop in a “Big Yellow Taxi” and go over the “Country Roads” to cross that “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” Because “You’ve Got a Friend”  “With A Heart of Gold” “Not So Far Away” who wants to be “Close to You” “Up On the Roof.”
