SAC has three central purposes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to advise on college matters that are relevant to staff, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to advocate for the interests of staff as a whole, <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and to build community among staff. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>SAC advises on policies that affect staff. SAC facilitates a path for staff to have representation on college-wide committees that are relevant to the staff experience, and serves as one channel of communication between staff and the senior leadership of the college.
