Activism and Anti-Racist Work

At Macalester we truly believe in the power of community and taking action toward the liberation of all members of our family and the world. As the Twin Cities and world continue to grieve the murder of George Floyd and horrendous attacks on the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, we stand in solidarity with our communities and encourage you to take action and get involved in the movement to fight systemic oppression and state sanctioned violence against our BIPOC and AAPI communities.

We understand that other groups face systemic oppression and at this time our Black and Asian/Asian American communities are at the forefront of our thoughts and action.
