Whether you live in a residence hall, exercise in the Leonard Center, meet a future employer through Career Exploration, relax in the Campus Center, engage with one of over 100 student organizations, or find support in the Hamre Center, with the Center for Disability Resources, or in International Student Programs, Student Affairs spans the student experience. Our team is composed of diverse and dedicated educators who foster holistic development, meaningful connections, and community engagement to advance your self-exploration, leadership, and service in the world. This means that our team provides opportunities that prioritize:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Well-being and safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equity and inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrative learning experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative partnerships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sense of belonging for yourself and others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While each Student Affairs department has its own learning outcomes within these domains, our overall role on campus is to support you in growing, leading, and fostering a love of Macalester. As you develop in these three areas, you also strengthen who we are as a community, and for that I am grateful.
