Program Information and Application<\/h2>\n

Innovation Scholars is a collaborative effort between the Mayo Clinic, Medical Alley, and Minnesota private colleges and universities. Multidisciplinary teams of four undergraduate students from a variety of disciplines analyze questions, ideas, and challenges submitted by researchers at Mayo Clinic or a biomedical company to make recommendations on next steps.\r\n\r\nStudents may be majoring in any field, but should be interested in health and healthcare and\/or the economics of healthcare delivery. Each student receives a stipend of $2,000 upon completion of the program. Check in with members of last year\u2019s Innovation Scholars team, Laura Neal and William Acost Lora, and Thomas Malecha to learn more. Students must be available over the month of January and need to be on campus both fall and spring semesters.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
