In most cases, those changes will need to be approved again by SARC. We encourage you to speak with a study away advisor first to discuss your reasons for wanting to change, and what other study away programs are still available. This request is not to be used to change programs or change your study away semester (see below for these options instead).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To cancel, log into your <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/macalester-csa.via-trm.com\/authV2\/welcome\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">study away portal<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and go to \u201cMy Programs,\u201d then click into your program. There you will see a link that says \u201cRequest to Withdraw\u201d (see screenshot below). Changing your study away semester may not be used to manipulate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/study-away\/beforeyouapply\/application-faqs\/\">semester balance provisions<\/a> of study away policies and procedures. <b>Change requests will be reviewed by CSA staff and SARC, and approval of your request is not guaranteed.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>Requests to change your study away semester are processed on a rolling basis as they are received. If you are considering changing your semester, CSA staff highly encourage you to speak with your study away advisor early to consider all implications (on-campus housing, enrollment in Mac courses, financial impact). In all cases, you must demonstrate clear justification for requesting a program change. <\/span><b>Change requests will be reviewed by CSA staff and SARC, and approval of your request is not guaranteed.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Deadline: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests to change your study away programs are processed on a rolling basis as they are received. If you are considering changing your program, CSA staff highly encourage you to speak with your study away advisor early to consider all implications. You need to submit a request to change programs prior to program deadlines, which are often in March for fall programs and September for spring programs, though some program and university applications are due before this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You may need to resubmit parts of your application if there have been changes in planned coursework or other academic content.
