Volunteer roles can be long term, short term, or singular depending on your interest level and availability. We will work with you to find a meaningful opportunity based on your preferences. <a href=\"https:\/\/engage.macalester.edu\/register\/athleticsvolunteer\">More information can be found here.&nbsp; <\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Give to the Macalester Fund\u2019s Athletics Designation:<\/strong> Gifts of all sizes are used immediately to support the Athletics Department and build toward excellence with expanded efforts to support the whole student-athlete through nutrition and counseling services, student-athlete leadership development, expanded recruitment, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Give to the Macalester Fund\u2019s Varsity or Club Team Designation(s): <\/strong>Gifts of all sizes go directly to the designated athletic team and support the purchasing of team equipment, uniforms, team travel, meals, recruiting, technology, and professional development for the coaching staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Engage with Macalester Athletics\/M Club Alumni:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/alumni\/alumni-resources-benefits\/macconnectinformation\/\">Update Mac Connect<\/a> to join the Athletics Affinity Group and\/or join the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/9390405\/\">Mac Athletics Alumni Network<\/a> on Linkedin to connect with fellow alumni, staff, and student-athletes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Show Up to Support Macalester Athletics: <\/strong>Come out to cheer on the Scots, enjoy time with fellow Macalester community members, and watch some incredible athletic competitions (<a href=\"https:\/\/athletics.macalester.edu\/calendar\">competition calendar<\/a>). By providing modern and functional facilities, we will enhance the student-athlete experience, support their competitive success, and reinforce Macalester&#8217;s commitment to excellence. New locker rooms for every varsity athletic team will positively impact student-athlete morale, hygiene, and the overall image of Macalester Athletics. They also will enhance our ability to attract and retain top-tier talent. This is a great way for your support to make a lasting impact.<br><br><strong>Team Endowments for Excellence<\/strong>: Allows coaches to plan intentionally and strategically to support the holistic development and overall experience of their student-athletes.<br><br>Minimum endowment: $100,000<br>Endowment goal: $500,000<br><br><strong>Scots LEAD (Athletics Student Leadership Fund)<\/strong>: Propels Macalester student-athletes towards holistic development and success and provides them with a competitive edge in life, at Macalester, and beyond.
