The 50th Reunion is the first time a Reunion Class Gift includes gifts beyond annual gifts to the Macalester Fund. Today, the James Wallace Society honors individuals whose future gifts ensure Macalester\u2019s continued strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining is simple &#8211; and often doesn\u2019t require changing your current financial lifestyle.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ways to make a planned gift:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/support-mac\/planned-giving\/planned-gift-options\/bequests-and-will-provisions\/\" title=\"\">Bequests<\/a> (non-contingent) documented in writing will count at face value. For intentions expressed as a percentage, a good-faith estimate can be used to determine the amount to count towards the class gift.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/support-mac\/planned-giving\/planned-gift-options\/beneficiary-designation-gifts\/\" title=\"\">Retirement Assets:<\/a> Naming Macalester as a beneficiary of part or all of your retirement assets such as a gift from your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax-deferred plan is an excellent and simple way to make a gift.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macalester.edu\/support-mac\/planned-giving\/planned-gift-options\/beneficiary-designation-gifts\/\" title=\"Beneficiary Designation Gifts\">Life Insurance: <\/a>If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider making a gift of your insurance policy.
